The third phase of the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority’s (PTA) campaign against the unauthorized usage of SIM cards for mobile phones is now underway. According to PTA insiders who spoke to media, all SIM Blocking issued in the names of deceased people would now be permanently closed or blocked. If not moved by October 15, all SIMs registered in the names of departed people will be blocked.
