Islamabad, Oct 2: After a period of decline, gold prices in Pakistan experienced a significant increase on Wednesday, reflecting trends in the international market.

  1. Gold Price Increase:
    • The price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs600, bringing it to Rs275,500.
    • The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs515, settling at Rs236,197.
  2. International Market Trends:
    • In the global market, gold rates also surged, with the price recorded at $2,653 per ounce, marking an increase of $6 for the day.
  3. Silver Prices:
    • In contrast to gold, silver prices in the local market remained unchanged at Rs3,050 per tola.
