Islamabad, Sep 25: The Overseas career Corporation (OEC) an associated department of the Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development (OP&HRD) is commencing a data gathering procedure for Pakistani nurses interested in researching prospective career prospects in the United States of America.
This is a part of an endeavor to find eligible applicants who fulfill the requirements for pursuing nursing posts in the American healthcare system, an official source told APP here on Wednesday.According to him, candidates seeking a generic BSN or post-RN (16 years of study) must have completed the TOEFL or have an English proficiency test with an IELTS overall band score of 6.5 or higher, speaking section score of 7.0 or higher.
The internet-based test, or iBT, yielded a total score of 83 or above. The individual part scores were as follows: Reading: 21, Listening: 18, Speaking: 26, Writing: 24, Credential Evaluation (CGFNS). The NCLEX-RN exam should have previously examined the candidates’ credentials.
He stated that candidates, both male and female, must have completed the NCLEX-RN exam and be no older than 45 years. Interested parties may apply at https://oec.gov.pk/, the website of OEC.
