Islamabad, Oct 19: Pakistan Shines as a Leading Global Tech Hub at GITEX, Says Shaza Fatima, Showcasing Innovation and Growth. Pakistan’s rise as a worldwide technology hub was cemented on Saturday when the nation was dubbed the “Tech Destination of the Year” Tech Hub  at GITEX, according to Minister of State for IT and Telecommunication Shaza Fatima Khawaja.

In her message of congratulations, the minister congratulated all of the attendees, representatives, and businesses that represented Pakistan at GITEX Global 2024 in Dubai. “This event has been a huge success for Pakistan, showcasing the remarkable potential of our IT industry on the global stage thanks to your dedication and hard work,” she remarked.

Shaza Fatima claimed that Pakistan’s recognition as the Tech Destination of the Year at GITEX solidified the country’s expanding status as a major global technology powerhouse.

With more than 200 businesses, startups, and industry professionals, our outstanding participation demonstrates Pakistan’s steadfast dedication and the enormous potential of our IT sector, she remarked.

Additionally, I would like to congratulate all of the Pakistani businesses that have signed memorandums of understanding and formed important alliances with global tech giants. “These partnerships represent a significant advancement for our IT sector, providing access to new markets and fostering innovation,” she insisted.

According to the minister, GITEX’s success will boost Pakistan’s IT sector’s expansion while also making a substantial economic contribution to the country.

She said that the government is still totally dedicated to helping the IT sector, encouraging innovation, and making sure that the momentum created at GITEX keeps driving advancements in both technology and the economy.

“I am pleased with our collective accomplishments, and I have no doubt that the success at GITEX will result in long-term advantages for Pakistan’s technology industry in the days ahead,” she continued.
